Belgium in Canada

You are a Belgian resident in Canada and you wish to register in the consular records? You urgently need a new passport? You are planning a visit to Belgium and you would like to know if you need a visa? You wish to know if you are affected by travel restrictions related to COVID-19? You will find the answers on this website.

If you live in Canada, in Bermuda or in the Territorial Collectivity of Saint-Pierre-and-Miquelon and you need consular services, the Consulate General in Montreal is your unique point of contact.

The Consulate General can be reached by phone from 8 AM to 1 PM and from 2 PM to 5 PM (Montreal Time) from Monday to Friday. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is open to the public by appointment only.

Due to technical difficulties, our phone lines have not been working optimally lately. If you wish to reach the Consulate General, we kindly advise you to send an email to montreal@diplobel.fed.be. Our apologies for the inconvenience.

A lot of information is available on this website. If you cannot find the information needed, send us an email. In the interest of an informative answer, please identify yourself properly by stating your name, date of birth, nationality and contact details.
